"Stand On It" - New movie from John Schneider
It's a pretty prolific period from a modeling point of view: the lockdown period has given me new creative ideas, so I'm working a lot on many new models. One of these is the awesome Dodge Challenger used by John Schneider in his new movie "Stand On It", a tribute film to the legendary "Smokey and The Bandit" starring Burt Reynolds in 1977. The news of this new movie had already been circulating on the web for several months: some short videos and some images stolen from the set had appeared, so I wasted no time and immediately set to work to create a 1:18 scale copy of the car star of the film. Of course I am still working on this car (strangely, in fact, I am working at the same time on this Challenger and on the Charger of "Christmas Cars"): in a few days I will show you the first images from the beginning of the works, but since that two days ago is when the trailer of the film was released, I didn't want to wait any longer, so I'll give you just a little preview of my model (together with the models of the cars used in the films of John Schneider, "Collier & Co." and "Christmas Cars"), but of course together with the movie trailer so you can enjoy this little masterpiece that will arrive in a few months on DVD. But now enough with the words, enjoy the trailer !!!!
2021/12/02 Ben Anims And More says: Hey, I'd like to verify something for you real quick. The grill on the real car isn't an grill from an Hellcat. The real Hellcat grill should have an SRT badge on it. Plus, if you look on the fender, there is no Hellcat badging in the film on the car! Next thing, the front splitter is different, and on the spoiler of the actual car, there should be another SRT badge! So, they never used a real Hellcat! They just took a stock V6 Challenger, and put on a Hellcat hood on the car, and John even verifies it in one of his videos! Translate:
2021/12/02 Fabiano says: Hi Ben, yes the car used in the movie is not a real Hellcat. John confirmed this, so we can say that the car used in the movie is only a normal Challenger with some details changed to appears like an Hellcat. Translate:
