Taxxi... why not try it?

These days I saw the movie "Taxxi" with my girlfriend: she had never seen before, but for me it was not new. However, I found it always very nice and fun, definitely the best of the quartet. The other three films are also enjoyable but a bit like a rehash of the first movie. After revised, I wondered why no one had ever thought to realize the Daniel's Taxxi in 1:18th scale. Some time ago I decided to make it happen, but unfortunately there are no models on the market of the Peugeot 406. At the end, wanting to necessarily have this car in my collection, I thought about trying something similar and the choice fell on the Peugeot 605 produced by Solido several years ago. The dimensions are slightly, but the car body and the proportions are quite similar to the 406. Taking the courage in both hands, I open eBay to find what I was looking for and I finally found a dark grey Peugeot 605, complete with all the parts and well preserved. Of course, to make it more similar to the Taxxi used by Daniel, I will add the spoiler on the front bumper and on the trunk (which will created with plasticard) and rims quite similar to those used in the movie. I tried to do a montage of how the results will come and it satisfy me. It only remains to wait for the arrival of all the pieces to start with this new project!
