The new General Lee by RC2/ERTL |
|
|
Finally, RC2/ERTL is to release yet another version of the '69 Dodge Changer, best know as "General Lee" (The Dukes of Hazzard) in October 2007. Unlike the previous versions of the General Lee, the 2007 release will be produced using totally new tooling with a lot of details. Still incased in its NASCAR shell and painted with its famous Hemi Orange colour consisting of the Confederate Flag & "01" decals, undoubtedly this version of the '69 Dodge Charger will surprise the avid collector. The 1:18 scale '69 Dodge Charger - Precision Version will be sold under the American Muscle Authentics series claimed to be the most highly detailed models available on the market. So, RC2/ERTL will be release 2 different General Lee: the Standard version (Hemi Orange body, Opening Bonnet, Detailed 426 Hemi Engine and Tan Interior) and the Precision Version (it will include the above features plus more: Fully Detailed & Trimmed Interior with Cloth Belts & Carpet, Opening Doors, Hood, and Trunk with Realistic Hinges, Plug Wires, Soft Heater Hoses, Engine Part Labels, Roll Cage, Correct Wheels, Hideaway Headlights, Working Suspension and Rotating Driveshaft). The Precision Version can set you back anywhere between $120 and $150. Posted by: Fabiano on Tue 9/25/2007 at 15:10 | | 0 | 1 |
