"Stand On It" - Episode 2

Here I am back from vacation! During the holidays I planned (and ordered) several new models to modify during the fall and winter, but there will be time for that...
Today I want to show you the progress made on the Dodge Challenger used in the movie "Stand On It" by John Schneider. As you can see from the pictures, I have finally removed the paint from the body, and I have also started to do some tests for printing the eagle that will then go on the hood. To conclude, I then proceeded to fill the hood air intakes, perfectly detailing the new hood lines.
In the next episode I will finally show you the painted bodywork. Now enjoy the pictures!

"Stand On It" - Episode 3

Happy weekend buddies, today I want to show you the progress made on the Dodge Challenger used in the movie "Stand On It" by John Schneider. As you can see from the images, I finally painted the bodywork with an awesome glossy black: I am very satisfied with the result obtained above all on the bonnet, but also for the black / gold combination that the car must have at the end of the work.
We are definitely on the right track, there is still a lot of work to do but I am more and more satisfied! See you on the next episode!

"Christmas Cars" - Episode 5

Summer is now over and autumn, with its low temperatures, has already shown up here in Varese. So what's better than getting to work to complete some diecast models? Over the past weekend I took the opportunity to work a bit on the General Lee used in John Schneider's "Christmas Cars" movie. Finally I managed to paint the rims, then finishing them with chrome details using the "Liquid Chrome" pens produced by Pump Marker (purchased on Amazon). The final effect is amazing, just look at the comparison I made with the rims of an old General Lee produced by ERTL. In the next few days I will also make a comparison with those mounted on the General Lee of AutoWorld. But now enjoy all the photos and let me know if you like them! See you soon!

"Stand On It" - Episode 4

Today we continue with the other project that I am carrying out in this period, the Dodge Challenger used by John Schneider in the movie "Stand On It". Finally, after having completely painted the body in glossy black, I proceeded to apply the grids on the air intakes of the hood (I used a kitchen sieve), after which I applied the gold stripes along the entire body.
The result is amazing: even if the model has yet to be completed (mirrors, side windows and some other details) I could not resist putting it side-by-side to the two Pontiac Trans Ams from "Smokey and The Bandit", the film that inspired the new "Stand On It".
See you soon with the latest updates on this model, after which I will start modifying a new model!
