After about two months, I'm back to talk about the locations that unknowingly I visited in 2009 during my visit to Universal Studios. While I'm watching a Knight Rider episode (4x20), in fact, I realized that I visited some of those places appeared in the episode. The sets in question are the Mexican set, where during the tour (but also in the Knight Rider episode) the viewer is hit by a flash flood and the "Jaws" set, where a shark came out from the waters of the lake. Into the 2 red ovals, you can observe the Mexican set, and immediately nearby is clearly visible the set of "Jaws" that recreate a part of Amity harbor. However, the red arrows represent the direction of KITT during the chase.

   Below you can see an enlargement of the map where you can observe with more detail the Mexican set. With the red arrow I indicated the point where Michael comes into the scene along with KITT before the flash flood and the orange circle indicates the point where there was the tree which the guy clings, which was later replaced by a stone fountain and a wooden cart.

   In the next image, taken by me during the guided tour, you can see the beginning of the flood (with the water coming out even from the windows!) and the new fountain located not far from where once there was the tree.

   Below, I will try to compare the location taking several frames from "Knight Rider" with pictures taken by me. Here you can see more of the building that is behind the pickup that Michael and KITT are chasing. It is absolutely not changed except for some new words written on the walls at the side of the main door.

   In this image, you can better see the new fountain, the edge of the bridge that is visible on the right and the detail of the buildings that you see behind the tree. These buildings can be recognized for the house with two windows with a white frame.

   In this other comparison, you can better see the bridge and the barrier stones that protects the road from the flood. You can also notice that instead of the tree (which during the flood bent), today was positioned a wooden cart with hidden mechanisms that always moves it during the flood.

   In the latter comparison (relative to the set of Mexico), you can see on the right of the frame from "Knight Rider" a white building with a blue stripe at the bottom. The same building can be seen in my shot right in front of the fountain and the wooden cart. In this case, this building has lost over the years its characteristic protruding canopy.

   Below you can see an enlargement of the map where you can see with more detail the set of "The Jaws". With the red arrow I indicated the point where Michael comes into the picture before he stop and get out from KITT and in the orange oval I indicated more or less the point where Michael starts a fist fight and the emergence of the shark.

   In the next image, taken by me during the guided tour, you can see the billboard that welcomes to "Amity," the set of "The Jaws". The billboard is also visible in the episode of "Knight Rider".

   Below, I will try to compare the location taking several frames from "Knight Rider" with pictures taken by me. Here you can see better the billboard with the overturned boat while the pickup of the fugitive try to escape from Michael and KITT. It's remained almost identical to the period of filming of "Knight Rider".

   Michael and KITT are able to stop the pickup. You see in the background the artificial lake and the houses (one with 2 sloping roofs). The same houses can be seen better in the pictures taken by me.

   Other 2 images, one from the TV series and another from those taken by me, where you can see even better the houses positioned on a side of the lake. All it seems remained quite the same, except the plant that has grown significantly and the roof of the house on the right that would need some repair.

   Here you can compare the time of emergence of the shark out of the lake. Unfortunately during my visit I could not get shot from the front of the shark, since I was positioned a little later. However, from what I remember and whatching the picture you can see that are two completely different sharks. After all it's been almost thirty years ... do you think it's dead? :)

   A final comparison to see the set from another angle. Here you can see some of the vegetation that surrounds it.

   Ed ora un po' di fotografie per farvi vedere da qualche altra angolazione questo simpaticissimo set. Come potrete notare, di fronte alla casa col tetto rosso, fa bella mostra un finto squalo appeso come trofeo di caccia! Inoltre, come potrete vedere dalle foto, durante il tour guidato, tramite meccanismi controllati, avviene unche un incendio che distrae lo spettatore prima dell'emersione dello squalo!
