 | Here we are at the turning point of this series of 4 episodes dedicated to the virtual tour of the set used within the Universal Studios in the trilogy of "Back to the Future" and the TV series "Knight Rider" and "Street Hawk". But do not worry, there are more surprises ahead!
| | Today we will analyze the buildings located to the east, unfortunately the least taken in "Back to the Future" but also in "Knight Rider" and "Street Hawk". This aerial map refers to the current reconstruction of the set, which occurred after a fire in 2008 that destroyed most of the historic buildings. The set was entirely rebuilt with some variations of course that will show you at the end of this first episode.
| | Afterschool Marty greets Jennifer and watching while she go to the car of her father, in the background, you can see the sign of the other theater, the Essex, present at the sides of the Courthouse square. The same building (note the arches) can also be seen in the episode "Vegas Run" (1x04) on "Street Hawk".
| | Here another shot of "Back to the Future" always compared with one frame of the episode "Vegas Run" (1x04) on "Street Hawk", where the witness goes with the Norman's car to the stairs of the Courthouse.
| | Here another comparative picture of the same building (period 2015) in the movie "Back to the Future 2" and a scene of the episode "Vegas Run" (1x04) on "Street Hawk". In this case, the car has run its course on the steps of the Courthouse.
| | The following image is part of a series of shots taken during the filming of "Back to the Future" and portrays Marty in the 1955. Curiously, the "Essex" theater broadcast a movie with Ronald Reagan, President of the United States' America in 1985.
| | In this shot taken during the filming of "Back to the Future" you can see how in 1985 the building was used as a "XXX rated" movie theater.
| | This series of buildings was one of the areas most affected by fire in 2008. The buildings were then rebuilt but with aanother configuration and a completely different architecture.
