"Bianco, Rosso e Verdone": Alfa Romeo Alfasud |
|
|
The model I present you today is in my collection from a long time, but I never managed to make him the appropriate photos. Today is the time to show it: it's an Alfa Romeo Alfasud 1.3 produced by the Laudoracing-Model. The model is made entirely of resin and does not present any type of opening, but other than that detail, is a model produced very well indeed. I added it to my collection to play the Alfasud used by Pasquale Ametrano (character played by Carlo Verdone) in the movie "Bianco, Rosso e Verdone", classic Italian comedy of the early years 80. For those who live outside of Italy, this film will say little, but for Italians is really a cult! In the film the poor Alfasud does not hold a real starring role, but in most scenes is the target of some petty theft that will infuriate its owner at the end of the film. The model is worth buying? For me it definitely is built very well (and for me the absence of the openings is not a problem) and beyond to track the car of a famous movie, you'll take home a classic of Italian cars!
