68 Ford Mustang GT390: ERTL vs. AUTOart

Today, I want to propose you a new comparison, this time between the '68 Ford Mustang GT390 produced by ERTL and the '68 Ford Mustang GT390 produced by AutoArt (these are the cars used by Steve McQueen in the movie "Bullit"). I hope you will appreciate it!

there is a obvious detail difference between the 2 cars, but both good, some bit correcton the ertl like no chrome around the front lights and it doesnt say mustang on the trunk, the bottom pic does it though, ertl looks like a model, the auto art car looks almost real, cool cars both ,i changed the ride height on my ertl mustang, as you said fabiano its too high,

You made a great job on your Mustang, Paul! Now it looks like an AUOTart and the ride height is perfect. What wheels have you used?

Ciao buona serata by Ighi

Troppo buono Ighi, come sempre!

Thanks again fabiano ,the wheels are cragers , but i painted the outer part silver, the center is black, ive left it like this ,as in the movie they look black but models etc seem to go with grey, i prefer black, in the end i will probably do a complete rebuild but busy at the mo, i will still add the dust etc as for me this car was dented right from the start, in fact i was watching some behind footage weeks before the movie was made ,it was bill and steve practice there driving in the charger and the mustang, steve's had dents in it ,same as weeks later in the movie, of course these come and go in the chase scene lol, just like all those hub caps from the charger, still my all time favourite car chase,

Oh great Paul! Could you tell me where have you find this footage? I'm interested to watch it.

Ciao By Ighi

X Paul: thanks bro. I have the original DVD but there isn't any footage about the chase scene. Let me know.
