Autotrader Viper - Episode 1
While waiting to be able to continue work on the 3 Mini of "The Italian Job" (I'm waiting for the straps and additional headlights) did not want to stay with my arms folded, so I started working on a new project that I presented you almost 2 months ago. It's the Viper used by Bo and Luke in the "Autotrader" TV spot. As you will recall, a few months ago I created the replica of the police cars of that spot but I had always put off work on this Viper. During this weekend also came his moment of falling under the "tools". As you can see from the pictures, the model has been completely dismantled, stripped and was applied three coats of paint in pastel orange RAL 2003. These days I will paint the black profiles on the doors and vents, then I give a final coat of clear gloss to add sparkle to the whole body. Stay tuned because in the next days the Viper, the 2006 Police Dodge Charger and the General Lee will meet together again, just like in the TV spot!

New purchases of May
While waiting to complete the orange Viper used in the Autotrader TV spot, today I show you purchases about the recent days: two of these models are true classics and I do not understand why I have not bought it before ... the two cars used in the film "American Graffiti", the 1932 Ford Deuce Coupe and the 1955 Chevy 150 Street Machine, both produced by ERTL. Finally, I took the Chevrolet Chevelle SS 1970 used by Vin Diesel in the fourth film in the saga "Fast & Furious". Purchases certainly do not end here: see you soon with more news!

Autotrader Viper - Episode 2
Last week has been quite hectic and I could not work on the SRT Viper as I wanted. However, over the weekend I recovered time and I started to reassemble it. As you can see from the last time, I made black profiles along the side windows and spent two coats of clear coat on the orange paint: now the Viper is very shiny! Tomorrow I'll post pictures of the model completed with the doors, the dashboard, the windshield and the rear lights. Then the final touch: I will apply the license plate CNH320 and the number "01" that I made on the PC starting directly from the pic of the real Viper used in the TV spot. See you tomorrow!

Happy Birthday General Lee!
I'm back ... I had some projects to be delivered at work and then I had to stay away from the site and from diecast modeling. Work on the Viper still have now come to end. Wednesday, I will show the work is finished! Today I'm here only to show you the latest acquisition: the black 1969 Dodge Charger inspired by the episode "Happy Birthday General Lee." Later this week should be here, then I'll show you a nice overview of all Chargers in my possession. Have a nice week!
