Today, I want to show you some pictures I received this morning from Luca.77: sunday, he visited Voghera (PV) for the best meeting of American Cars. Naturally, he found a lot of TV/movie cars (4 General Lees, 1 KITT, 2 Zebra3, 1 Christine, 2 DeLorean, etc.) and now I have the pleasure to show you all his pictures: Enjoy with them!!!

Duke's Fest & American Wheels

Today, I received from Ighi72 a lot of pictures about 2 great American Cars meetings: the "American Wheels" in Voghera (the same of the pictures sent me by Luca.77) and the "MOPAR & DUKE's Fest" in Cant. The pictures are amazing and you will find a lot of incredible muscle cars, especially the cars used in "The Dukes of Hazzard" (but also other TV/movie cars)!!

Toyota F1 vs Batmobile

Thanks to a partnership between Panasonic Toyota Racing and Warner Bros. Pictures, the Batmobile and the Badpod found their way to the Silverstone race track on Thursday evening (July 3) for a demonstration run alongside Toyotas TF108 race car which has adopted a new look for this weekends British GP. To mark the release of the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight" staring Christian Bale, the Dark Knight artwork will be displayed on the TF108s and the overalls of Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock, as well as the team's motor home.

Hazzard in South Park

Only for fun, today I tryed to create the Hazzard's characters using the "South Park" style. I think the result is very good and very hilarious. I hope you like them!! In the next future, I will create other TV series characters, using also other styles.

A new order!

Two weeks ago I ordered other 3 new diecast models for my collection: the first one is a 1951 Ford F-1 Pick-Up and it's the truck used by Reed Foxx in the sitcom "Sanford & Son."; the second one is a 2006 Chevrolet Camaro Concept used in the movie "Transformers"; the last model is a 1964 Ford Mustang Convertible used by Jason Priestley in the TV series "Beverly Hills 90210". Now these models are travelling the Atlantic Ocean and I hope they will arrive as soon as possibile, so I will show you a lot of detailed pictures.

Miami Vice in South Park

Waiting my diecast models, I prepared another set of South Park's characters, this time inspired to the legendary TV series "Miami Vice". Considering this is a site devoted to TV star cars, I included also the white Ferrari Testarossa. Enjoy with them and have a nice weekend!!!

Knight Rider 2008 - Diecast model

The next August, Shelby Collectibles will be release a new diecast model inspired to the new TV series "Knight Rider". This diecast model will not have the Universal Pictures official license but it will be perfectly identical to the real Shelby Mustang GT500 KR, a version produced by Shelby to promote the new TV series.
Please note: the diecast model will reproduce KITT in Normal Mode (no spoilers, no aerodynamic outgrowth, etc), not KITT in Attack Mode!
Unfortunately, for the moment there is no official pictures of this new diecast model: we need to wait another month... Stay tuned!!!

Traveller & Traveller

In this period, I'm working on the Traveller #1 (the car used in the movie "Collier & Co.") To create a perfect replica of the real car, I tryed to recreate the cover seats: in the movie they used 2 blankets, while I used 2 old duster cloths. However, the diecast model is not yet finished: I need to complete the engine bay and I will other details on the interior, etc.
Anyway, I shot some pictures with the 2 Travellers, in order to appreciate the work executed in the last year. Enjoy with them!!!

The Ecto1 in Italy

I would like to inform you that Saturday 19th, Sony and Sierra Entertainment will organize in Milan a presentation of the original Ecto1 to promote the new "Ghostbusters" videogame: it's a video game based on the Ghostbusters film franchise in development for the PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PC; the game's storyline is being written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, the writers of the original films. They, along with Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, will also lend their voices and likenesses to the game.
So, if you want to meet the Ecto1 in person, come in Milan (Gianbologna Park, via Tabacchi, from 13:00 to 14:00). I will do my best to be there!!!

Dirty Mary Crazy Larry

During the last weekend, I received a visit from my parents, so I had to forsake the idea to visit the Ecto1 in Milan. However, when my parents went to home, I started to work on my new project... yes, another General Lee is finished under my hands, but this time with this model I will realize the '69 Charger used in the movie "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry". First of all, I changed the original wheels with 4 new wheels taken from an old Ford Gran Torino; moreover, I created 2 new broochs for the doors, so now it's possible to open them.
Instead, yesterday evening I have removed all the plastic parts from the shell and then I have applyed a paint remover on the body and now it's ready for the painting. Coming soon I will post new picture about my work in progress.

Hazzard set on Warner Bros. Studios

Only for fun, I've searched some information about the set used for "The Dukes of Hazzard" filming (the TV series, not the movie). First of all, I found this aerial view on Microsoft Virtual Earth and then I've asked on the CGLFC forum the location of every building we saw in the TV series (thanks to the user "wekke" who has provided me a lot of information about it).
Unfortunately, the set has changed a little (in the past 7 years it has been used for "The Girlmore Girls" filming) but it's possible to recognize a lot of Hazzard locations.

Legend:
1 - Courthouse
2 - Bank
3 - Ice Cream Parlor / Bus stop / Pharmacy
4 - Theatre / Julius Berg - Attorney at law
5 - Furniture Mart
6 - US Post Office / Fanny's Fabrics
7 - Hazzard Garage (Cooter)
8 - Boss Hogg's house
9 - Church
10 - St. Jacob's Oil / Hotel Metropole
11 - Hazzard County Impound yard
12 - Gazebo

DMCL's Charger with the primer

During this weekend I made few steps on the Dirty Mary Crazy Larry's Charger, infact I have only painted the shell with the primer. Now the body is ready to receive the correct yellow lime paint and this evening I think I will appy on it. Come back tomorrow for new updates!!

DMCL's Charger with the new paint

As promised, yesterday I've painted the Dirty Mary Crazy Larry's Charger shell with the correct yellow paint and this morning I've assembled all the parts (chassis and interior included) to understand how it appears with the new look. This evening I will work on the interior: I will paint every component with mat black and then I will coat the floor with black velvet. Stay tuned!!!

Other details on the DMCL's Charger

Today I will show you only few updates on the Dirty Mary Crazy Larry's Charger: infact, yesterday I've worked especially on the dashboard and the door panels (painting them with a black paint). Moreover, with a silver drawing pen, I've outlined the window profiles. This evening I will continue to work on this model, adding more details to it!!

I am Legend: a new comparison!

Today, I want to propose you a new comparison, this time between the Shelby Mustang GT500 produced by Shelby Collectibles and the Shelby Mustang GT500 produced by AutoArt. I want to thanks Roberto because he has furnished me the pictures of his Shelby Collectibles model. I hope you will appreciate it!
