   1) First of all, go to your favourite hardware store and buy 16 hooks, as you can see from the picture.
Every hook has a length of 2.5 cm and a breath of 1.2 cm. The cost of every hook is about 0.20 euro, so the total amount will be 3.20 euro.

   2) With the space furnished by the original Detolf, we can store only 12 diecast models (1:18 scale): it's not enough for us, so fortunately, there is the possibility to insert other new shelves: in this way, after this modification, the display case will contain 24 diecast models (1:18 scale).

   3) Empty the display case and put all your 1:18 diecast models in a safe place (far from your children or your wife!!).

   4) Now, remove one shelve and bring it to your trusted glazier. He will use it to create other 4 identical shelves: the price will be about 10 euro for every shelve, so the total amount will be about 40 euro.

   5) Then remove all the 3 left shelves and begin to apply all the hooks and the metal structure: put every hook in the middle point, so every shelve will have the same space.
