I do not sell these models. This site is only dedicated to my private collection.

Wagon Queen Family Truckster & Toyota Supra

In the coming weeks, they come on sale some new diecast models of cars used in films and TV series. One that (personally) I'm waiting for the longest time is the Wagon Queen Family Truckster used in the movie "National Lampoon's Vacation", produced by Greenlight for the Artisan series (without any type of opening, neither doors nor trunk and hood). From the first picture of the finished model, I have to admit that I really like it and I will add it definitely to my collection soon will be put on sale in Europe: the details are high, the build quality as well... maybe just the bags and the elements to be displayed on the rack could be done better, but I must say that all in all we can not complain.
In addition to this, they will be sold also two Toyota Supra, produced by Jada, used in the movies of the saga "The Fast & The Furious". However, in this case I must admit that these models do not make me crazy: the final result is very similar to a toy, with few details or finishes. Between the two I definitely prefer the white version that maybe I will buy it and then I will modify it later, adding more details. However, the orange version does not convince me at all and I still prefer the historical version produced by ERTL. The model produced by Jada has few finishing touches (such as the absence of blacks profiles of the headlights and side windows, side marker lights are simply painted on the body and have an exaggerated inner channel). Of course, if someone had not this car in his collection and wanted to buy it without paying a lot of money for the old ERTL models, so ok, but I would prefer a bit more quality in the diecast models produced today, instead of continuing to churn out a car behind the other just to take advantage of the license paid to Universal for "The Fast & the Furious". And the losers are always just the "poor" collectors ...
